The Wesley Mission Center
The Wesley Mission Center, located at 777 N. Walnut Creek Drive, is a community outreach, volunteer supported ministry of the First United Methodist Church of Mansfield.  It started in 1979 as a Methodist Women Thrift Store project.  From that date, the Mission Center's focus has been to sell donated items at very low prices through the Thrift Store.  The money generated by these sales (plus donations) is used to provide emergency aid to families in crisis in the Mansfield Independent School District through the Mission C.A.R.E. Center.  Non-financial services are available to all who enter our doors.

Our Mission Statement:
The Wesley Mission Center seeks to exemplify God's love, and to reflect the church's gratitude through Christian faith in action.  We light the path to self-sufficiency and resolve problems by providing food, clothing, financial and other assistance to those in our community who are in need or distress.

Volunteers are needed to work the following shifts in the Wesley Mission Center Community Thrift Store:

Wednesdays - 4:00-6:00 p.m.
Thursdays - 2:00-4:00 p.m.
Thursdays - 4:00-6:00 p.m.
Saturdays - all shifts

This is a great ministry for small groups, families or youth.  To volunteer, contact the Mission Center
